The Herbs of your Heart

The Refill Session allows us to do a brief check-in, usually 2-3 weeks after your full consultation, while refilling the custom herbal remedies crafted just for you. These remedies are vibrant, pulsing with medicine and wisdom, and perfectly aligned to your healing goals.

As a traditionally-trained clinical herbalist, I am proud to formulate and compound herbal remedies as part of your session; I do this for each client I work with. While there are countless incredible broad-spectrum formulas you can get at the store or online, nothing compares to a blend of herbs that has been chosen to harmonize with you as a unique person.

Each herb in every formula I craft speaks to your heart of hearts and brings a particular virtue to the blend in support of your own goals. Some herbs chosen reflect and strengthen the best parts of you, while others bring in perspectives that you may need at this time. Together, they synergize into a medicine that is greater than the sum of its parts and full of a power that transforms.

I source the herbs in our herbal apothecary from organic and biodynamic farms from across the country. I take quality very seriously and love supporting herbal cooperatives that make sure our farmers are well cared for and paid what they deserve.

As an herbal remedy formulator, I have over 20 years of experience in blending teas, tinctures, extracts, oils, powders, and compresses. This art isn’t about putting all the herbs ‘good for’ a condition together and calling it good, rather it’s a nuanced process of considering how each herb arrives in the body, moves, activates, pacifies, harmonizes, and clears.

I encourage you to bring your bottles and bags back to refill visits so we can top them off and keep them out of the landfill. I am happy to clean and sterilize them for you at your next visit. Refill visits last about 15 minutes, are available most weekdays, and the cost of booking ($10 confirmation fee) is deducted from the price of your refills, so the visit is complimentary.
